Warwick Group Secures $5 Million for New Fire Station on Tybee Island, GA
Warwick Group Consultants, LLC is pleased to announce it played a key role in securing $5 million in federal funding for the City of Tybee Island, Georgia, to construct a new fire station.
The funding, included in the Fiscal Year 2026 Appropriations Act and earmarked by U.S. Representative Earl L. “Buddy” Carter (R-GA), will replace the city’s aging 1930s-era firehouse at 512 Jones Avenue. The new facility will be built on Butler Avenue and serve as a modern hub for land- and marine-based emergency operations.
“Warwick Group Consultants is proud to have partnered with Tybee Island leadership to deliver this critical investment,” said Dan Ginolfi, Senior Vice President. “This new fire station will enhance public safety for residents and visitors and provide Tybee’s firefighters with the facilities they deserve.” Construction planning is underway, with the new station expected to be operational within the next 12 to 18 months.
Warwick Group Consultants has a long history of successfully advocating for Tybee Island on coastal resilience, beach nourishment, stormwater improvements, and other infrastructure priorities. The firm continues to help communities secure federal resources for vital public safety and coastal resilience projects.
